Wetland of N. Fokea

Protected under the RAMSAR Convention, the wetland of N. Fokea isn’t only of extraordinary beauty, but also of great ecological importance. Every year it becomes the shelter for hundreds of bird species. Lying at a distance of about 6 km from the crossroad to Sani beach, is easily reached by car. Bird observers and teams of ecologists visit the wetland every year, combing holiday with research.
